Bursting with pride for our Paralympic heroes

We are so proud of our clients, Millie Knight, Brett Wild and Chris Lloyd and would like to congratulate them on their incredible success at the Winter Paralympic Games in PyeongChang earlier this month.

Millie and Brett have endured a difficult season after Millie crashed at the Paralympic test event in South Korea last year, resulting in severe concussion, ending her season prematurely.

Returning to the same hill for the first time since the crash, Millie and Brett stormed to silver, to secure the first medal for ParalympicsGB in the Women's Visually Impaired Downhill on the first day of the games.

The dynamic duo followed up their success with a second silver on day two in the Super G and a a Bronze on the final day of competition in the slalom event - contributing three medals to ParalympicsGB best ever winter games medal haul.

Chris Lloyd, who was told he would never ski again after a rally car accident left him paralysed from the neck down, finished in a highly respectable 20th and 25th place in the Men's Standing Downhill and Super G events respectively. With his family watching from the stands he defied his medical consultant to achieve his dream of competing at the Winter Paralympics in the sport he loves.

Holmlands were on the ground in South Korea in a busy time off the slopes, handling press and media activity and securing widespread national media coverage pre and post games including articles with BBC News, BBC Ouch, CBBC, i News, Fall Line Skiing Magazine, Sky Sports, The London Evening Standard and many more...

Since our inspirational athletes returned it's been a whirlwind of public appearances and welcome home celebrations.

We couldn't be more proud of Millie, Brett and Chris in all they have achieved at the games and the journey leading to it. It's our honour an privilege to be their press and media representatives.
