ParaSnowBall 2019

As part of our continued work with Disability Snowsport UK, it was our pleasure to film their ParaSnowBall black tie fundraising event for a second time, held at the prestigious Hurlingham Club in London on November 7th 2019.

The snowsports charity welcomed more than 200 guests – hosted by comedian and presenter Alex Brooker, from highly acclaimed Channel 4 series The Last Leg. Alex was joined on stage by charity Patron and long-time Disability Snowsport UK supporter, Pippa Middleton; alongside a special interview with record breaking swimmer turned snowboarded Ellis Challis, who lost all four limbs as a toddler due to meningitis.

Stars from the ski world included, visually impaired world champion and Paralympic gold medalist Menna Fitzatrick MBE and her sighted guide, Jennifer Kehoe MBE; former Olympic ski racer and current Ski Sunday Presenter, Graham Bell; Winter Paralympic hero Chris Lloyd and more.

Holmlands were commissioned to film, edit and produce a video capturing the ball to help shine a spotlight on the vital and important work of the charity in using snowsports as a means to improve the day to day lives and heighten the confidence of people who have a disability.
